February 2nd 2025
Here's everything I've been up to in January
So this is a slight deviation on my usual posts, it’s more of a bts.
Christmas, that thing that now seems so long ago came and went in a total blur. I don’t think I had stopped for one day since the start of November when my relationship broke down. I was making lists and juggling packing with Christmas shopping and moving across the country.
Exhausting to say the least.
For a bit of fun, you could try it with 6 cats. That’s an experieence!
Then the New Year came
As the date turned over from 2024 to 2025, the new year came into view with a new client.
If you have your own business, and have been an entrepreneur or sorts for a few years, you’ll know, (or maybe this is just a me thing) that when your energy changes, so does your business.
So with boxes piled up and 6 cats roaming about, I embarked upon chapter two of my business.
At the same time, I had been speaking a few months earlier with a long time client of mine about a new offering, which I will reveal soon, it’s still in alpha testing, yeah it’s not even up to beta testing yet! They actually had a potential client to help me run through this new offering. Hello alignment!
So I sorted out a lesson plan (there is a hint for you 😉) and we got going. As a result, I got some of the most wonderful feedback from her,
I mean 🤩!
We worked together and she got her first product up and running and you can find it here:
This is not an affiliate link. I’m telling you about her product because for someone who isn’t tech minded she got it set up and ready to go in 1 day! Awesome!
So what happened the rest of the month?
Well…
A bunch of 💩
Along with some good stuff.
So first, the 💩. I’ve been having a bunch of health issues on top of the usual issues so the doc is sending me for a bunch of blood tests to see if we can get to the bottom of it 🤞
There is some other personal stuff that happened in January but it affects my family and it’s stressful and ongoing and it’s at times when you run your own business that you think, I don’t want to deal with all the stuff that comes with that and a personal life.
BUT…
It means that I have the time and the freedom and flexibility to help my family and be there for them when they need rather than asking for holiday and being denied and being stuck in an office not being able to help, so swings and roundabouts as they say.
Onto the Good stuff..
Not only was there a bunch of pants stuff happening in Jan, there was also some good stuff to..
- I am feeling is much better in myself now that everything has settled down
- I somehow found the time to get a few badges and certificates 😊
And the one I'm most proud of
Which means I can, ‘build and manage workflows for your team, apply automations, and create dashboards to measure success. You’ll also learn research-backed strategies to help your teams adopt the new workflows you develop.’
This is not a service yet. It does mean that everything that I learnt on all the courses and qualifications means that I am able to provide a higher level of service with more streamlined operations to clients.
And so we are onto February.
I am waiting for sun and longer days and more exciting projects and connections this year.
As a bit of fun, I’ve done a roundup of the things I’m reading, watching and that I’m excited for this year.
Carry on the conversation by dropping a comment at the bottom of the page 👇 with how your January was, what you’re reading, what you recommend and what you’re excited for this year!

What I’m
Reading
As someone who loves books, I always have a couple of the go. I’ve tried to expand out from just books for pleasure and start to read some for business, so here is what I’m reading for January.
